Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital will host a grief and loss group in Spanish on August 3 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in their Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Visiting Nurses Association will lead this group that meets the first and third Monday of each month. For more information, call 831-751-5500.
Community Hospital Of The Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) To Hold Healing Art Retreat Class On August 6

CHOMP has a number of upcoming events and classes this summer including a "Healing Art Retreat" on August 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. which focuses on offering a creative outlet for healing the mind, body and spirit. Various art media will be explored to promote well being. There is a $20 charge for the program, which will be held in the Cancer center classroom at CHOMP's main facility. Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) To Hold Pilates Classes

CHOMP has a number of upcoming events and classes this summer including Pilates for Bone Building which will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from August 31 through October 21 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. or from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is another class which will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 1 to October 21 (with no class on September 7) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the "It's My Life" studio.
